The Challenge
Yvette was an emerging luxury candle brand that needed a digital presence strong enough to reflect the quality, mood, and craftsmanship of its products. The goal was not just to sell candles, but to create an online experience that felt premium, intentional, and visually aligned with the brand’s elevated positioning.
The challenge was to balance elegance with usability—building a site that felt editorial and immersive, while still supporting a clear shopping journey, product discovery, and a seamless path to purchase.

DESIGN DIRECTION
Digital Art Direction
The visual direction was built around restraint: generous whitespace, refined typography, and product-led imagery. Rather than over-designing the interface, I focused on creating a calm, elevated system where every element supported the brand’s luxury positioning.

A refined typographic pairing was used to create contrast between elegance and clarity—supporting both premium brand perception and easy product browsing.

UX APPROACH
Editorial Shopping Experience
Instead of relying on a conventional e-commerce layout, I designed the experience to feel more curated and atmospheric. Product pages were structured to highlight imagery, scent storytelling, and product details in a way that felt closer to a luxury editorial experience than a standard online store.
