FINTECH INTERNAL TOOL CASE STUDY
Vendor Management Tool
Simplifying invoice matching and vendor management into a faster, more intuitive internal workflow for finance teams.
Role
Lead Product Designer
Timeline
48-Hour Design Challenge (2025)
Core Focus
Internal Tools, Invoice Matching, Vendor Management

The Operational Bottleneck
As companies grow, finance teams often manage invoices and vendor records across disconnected tools, manual checks, and repetitive admin work. The result is slow reconciliation, duplicate data, and limited visibility into what’s actually happening across the purchasing workflow.
Fragmented Workflows
Invoice review, matching, and vendor updates were spread across multiple touchpoints, creating unnecessary back-and-forth for finance teams.
Low Visibility
Key vendor and invoice information was difficult to scan quickly, making decision-making slower and increasing the risk of errors.
THE SOLUTION
From Complexity to Clarity
The redesign focused on making high-volume finance tasks easier to scan, easier to act on, and easier to trust—bringing invoice matching and vendor management into a cleaner, more structured experience.
2 Core Flows
Invoice Matching + Vendor Management redesigned into a clearer internal workflow.

Design Decisions
To support fast decision-making in a finance environment, I focused on clarity over decoration—using structured layouts, clear hierarchy, and action-forward patterns that reduce cognitive load in high-volume workflows.
Action-first layout system
Scannable information hierarchy
Reusable internal UI patterns

Key Outcomes
What this project strengthened
This challenge sharpened my ability to design under time constraints, prioritize information hierarchy, and create internal tooling that supports efficiency without sacrificing usability. It reinforced how strong UX in B2B products often comes from simplifying dense workflows into clear, confident actions.
